USA: Firing outside stadium, 4 injured

WASHINGTON – Jul 18, 2021- Four people were injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire outside a baseball stadium in the US capital, Washington.

The match was being played at the baseball stadium at the time of the shooting, where a large number of spectators were watching the match.

As soon as the firing took place, the spectators became upset and panic spread among them.

None of the spectators understood whether the shooting took place inside or outside the stadium.

The spectators rushed out of the stadium, causing a stampede.

Due to this situation, the ongoing match at the baseball stadium was stopped.

All four injured in the incident have been shifted to the hospital. Police say the situation is under control and are investigating the incident.
