Two day Strategic Planning Training Workshop concludes
KARACHI, March 16,2022- Research & Training Wing, Planning & Development Department, Government of Sindh organized a two-day on-site training workshop titled “Strategic Planning” on 15th and 16th March 2022 at Pakistan Institute of Management, Karachi.
The training was designed and delivered by Mr. Abdul Ahad Khan, Chief Training Officer, Research & Training Wing, Planning & Development Department, Government of Sindh.
Learning objectives of the workshop focused on inculcating the practical application and execution of a robust and SMART strategic plan and major thematic areas of strategic planning such as mission, vision, SWOT analysis, goals and objectives were studied during the workshop. The participants worked in groups and discussed life scenarios pertaining to their job functions and organizations.
The training workshop was attended by government officers of various departments including Sindh Police, Coal & Energy, Sindh Bureau of Statistics, Sindh Irrigation & Drainage Authority, and Information etc.
