Trainings are essential to remove stress among faculty members, SALU research

KHAIRPUR June 26, 2021: Two Ph. D open defense seminars were held in the Institute of Commerce, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. The seminars were presided over by Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences.

Ph. D researcher Amir Bux Pirzada successfully defended his research on the topic “Study of Work Related Stress, Training & Development, Communication Barrier and Emotional Intelligence at Work Place and its Impact on Employees’ Performance” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Halepoto.

Research scholar Amir Bux Pirzada said that employees’ performance is the key factor for all organizations.

This study has been taken work related stress, training and development, communication barrier and emotional intelligence to understand their impact on the employees’ performance in context of teaching faculty of colleges of Sukkur and Larkana region. He said that the trainings are very essential to remove the stress among the faculty members because it will enhance the capacity of teachers at the colleges. He said work related stress has negative relationship on emotional intelligence among government colleges.

Moderation of Organization Leadership & Environment Turbulence

Research Scholar Mr. Jaleel Ahmed Thebo successfully defended his research on the topic “Exploring the Effect of Intellectual Capital on Frugal Innovation in SMES: The Moderation of Organization Leadership and Environment Turbulence” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar.

Researcher Jaleel Ahmed Thebo said that my research study is related with the direct relationship of intellectual capital with respect to social human and organizational capital with the frugal innovation in the small media entrepreneurships.

This study has adopted quantitative research design and the primary data collection was the mode of study in which questionnaire were distributed among 395 participants. He said SMEs has contributed a lot during the COVID-19 period and developed direct link with consumers.

Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo said that the work of the both scholars will pave the way for new research scholars and has direct linked with society. Our scholars are working in right direction in line with the Higher Education Commission’s research parameter to strengthen the research and development for the betterment of the nation and country.

Research experts Prof. Dr. Imamuddin Khoso, Prof. Dr. Muniruddin Soomro, Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmed Chandio and supervisor Prof. Dr. Amir Hussain Shar also shed light on the research work of the scholars. They appreciated their research work which they presented.

The Open Defense Seminars were declared as successful.
