Tik Tok star Gabriel Salazar has died in a fire in Texas. He had more than 2.2 million followers on social media platforms.

On Sunday morning, a Crystal City police officer stopped 19-year-old Salazar’s vehicle that was driving 100 miles from San Antonio in Zawala County, according to CNBC.

It is not clear why the vehicle was stopped. The officer then chased the sports car on Highway 83.

New York Post claimed in its report that he was apparently bringing migrants from the Southern border at the time of the fatal wreck, cops said.

According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy took part in the chase and tried to use a tire deflation device, which did not work.

During the chase, “Chevrolet Camaro drove off the road, and across the road into the west barrow ditch.” “The car hit some trees, wrapped up several times and caught fire,” according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Photographs taken at the scene show the car engulfed in flames.

Authorities say the fire killed Tik Tok star Gabriel Salazar and three others. Officials said Salazar, who made a name for himself under the handle “Gabnotbe” and claimed more than 800,000 followers on Instagram, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other three were Mexican citizens.
