Tangwani court awards unique punishment to power supply company employees

JACOBABAD Sep 25,2021- The Tangwani court awarded a unique punishment to  the four employees of Sukkur Electric Power Supply Company (SEPCO), district Kashmore of Sindh province.

Three months back, one Akram Gujrani filed a case that his three buffaloes died of electric current from SEPCO wire.

The court of Judicial Magistrate Tangwani, Munwar Ali Pirzado heard the case.

  • Convicts to pray Nimaz 5 times a day for 2 years

  • Plant 40 sapling of Neem tree

  • Memorize 10 Hadiths every month

Sindhi media reported that following the statements of the accused and the lawyers of the respondents, the civil judge sentenced SEPCO Sub divisional Officer Khalid Bajakani, Line superintendent Ashraf Bijrani, linemen Tariq Malik and Farooq Noonari to pray for 5 times for 2 years.

Not only this, the respondents will also have to plant 40 sapling of Neem tree, memorize 10 Hadiths every month. Further, Khalid Bajakani will clean the mosque at Sepco office on every Friday. They will submit report to the court every month.

Failure to comply with the punishment could lead to further punishment.
