Suspect of alleged kidnapping Latif University’s girl student arrested

KHAIRPUR Dec 30,2021- A suspect alleged for kidnapping and harassing Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur’s girl student has been arrested.

According to the police, Safdar Wassan, a student, had harassed her with scandalous scolding and had quarreled with other students.

The Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court also took notice of the case.

The report said that the incident involving harassment and abduction of a student Kushbu Bhatti was planned.

The suspect Safdar boarded the university’s point bus and went to the area allotted point for the girls in the point bus and harasses her.

Report said that the girl and her parents had forgiven the suspect Safdar.

Two cases of fight and violence have been registered at Ranipur police station.

One case has been registered against 16 persons including accused Safdar Wassan on the complaint of victim girl of Shah Abdul Latif University. The other case is lodged by the Shah Abdul Latif University administration.

It is to be noted that a few days ago, the accused had allegedly tried to abduct the university student. On this occasion, other students present in the bus resisted and foiled the abduction attempt.
