Speaker National Assembly to administer oath to Chief Hamza Shehbaz
LAHORE, 29,2022- The Lahore High Court – LHC has ordered the Speaker National Assembly to administer oath to Chief Minister Punjab, Hamza Shehbaz.
Speaker National Assembly will administer oath to Hamza Shehbaz at 11:30 am tomorrow, the court ruled.
Justice Jawad Hassan reserved the judgment on the petition of Hamza Shehbaz.
At the beginning of the hearing, Justice Jawad Hassan said how the court time has passed, and Hamza Shehbaz’s lawyer, Ashtar Ausaf Ali, said that under the High Court Rules, the time for basic rights can be extended.
Justice Jawad Hassan remarked that he had read everything, I have to work according to the law. What was the ruling of the Chief Justice? Hamza’s lawyer, Ashtar Ausaf Ali, said the chief justice had asked to administer the oath by April 28.
Justice Jawad Hassan reserved the judgment.
Advocate Ashtar Ausaf Ali said that the Governor Punjab was not following the Constitution. Justice Jawad Hassan gave remarks as to why you do not make contempt of court case. Hamza Sharif’s lawyer said, we can but at this stage his client has said to take up the issue of oath taking only.
