Nationalist leaders appear before ATC in Bahria Town case
KARACHI June 26, 2021: Six Nationalist leaders including President Sindh United Party Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah, Chairman Jeay Sindh Mahaz Abdul Khaliq Junejo, Chairman Sindh Tarqi Passand Party Dr Qadir Magsi, Sajid Chandio advocate, Riaz Chandio, Aslam Khairpuri and researcher and leader of Indigenous Rights Alliance Gul Hassan Kalmati appeared in Bahria Town rioting case before anti-terrorism court here on Saturday.
Due to non-submission of police file and leave of the judge, the hearing was adjourned without any proceeding.
The link judge said, in the absence of police file, bail applications of the accused cannot be heard.
Link Judge directed the police to submit file on July 15.
The accused appearing in the court have obtained security bail from the Sindh High Court.
The leaders of Sindh Action Committee and Indigenous Rights Alliance were booked in Bahria Town incident of June 6.
Talking to media after court hearing the leaders of Sindh Action Committee (SAC) said that due to Bahria Town they were attending the court hearings.
Regarding next the phase of movement, Chairman Sindh Tarqi Passand Party Dr Qadir Magsi, SUP leader Jalal Mehmood Shah and other nationalist leaders said that SAC is meeting on June 28, that will schedule mass contact campaign.
Now this campaign will be launched in Mirpur Khas, Shaheed Benazirabad and other divisions.
They said when hundreds of thousands of people will flock to the roads from Karachi to Kashmore, the owner of Bahria Town will find no place to hide.
They said that resettlement of aliens in Sindh would not be tolerated.
