KARACHI, Jul 14,2022- Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah’s notice of the murder of a youth Bilawal Kaka in Hyderabad and its aftermath and sought a detailed report from the police on the Hyderabad and Karachi incidents.
Sindh Chief Minister assured that No conspiracy on linguistic grounds will be allowed to succeed in any city of Sindh including Hyderabad,
Murad Ali Shah that Sindh is the cradle of peace, and its peace will not be allowed to deteriorate under any circumstances and reminded that people of different languages have been living in love in Sindh for decades.
The Sindh Chief Minister sought a detailed report from the police on the Hyderabad and Karachi incidents and directed that police should conduct professional investigation of the incident and bring the culprits to justice.
He advised people that this incident should not be seen in terms of crime on linguistic grounds, as criminals have no caste, nationality or language but crimes are their profession.
Sharjeel contacts Shahi Syed and Palijo
Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for information and transport Sharjeel Inam Memon contacted ANP leader Shahi Syed and Qaumi Awami Tehreek chief Ayaz Latif Palejo on the tragic incident that took place in Hyderabad.
Sharjeel Inam Memon asked the two leaders to play their positive role in creating peace and brotherhood in Sindh.
Later Shahi Syed and Ayaz Latif Palijo issueda joint statement and said that Pakhtuns and Sindhis have no quarrel on the ethnic grounds.
The land of Sindh is owned by the Sindhi brothers and Pakhtuns are making a living by working hard in Sindh.
The provincial minister said that no one in Sindh would be allowed to take the law into their hands. A few suspects have been arrested in the tragic incidents. Strict action will be taken against any miscreant who takes the law into his own hands. The accused of murder of a youth has been arrested. Some young people who damaged business property have also been arrested since the incident.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Sindh is the land of Sufis and peace lovers. The peaceful atmosphere of Sindh will be maintained.
Shahi Syed and Ayaz Latif Palejo have assured the provincial minister that they will play their role in maintaining the atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in Sindh and will issue a joint press statement in this regard in which the people will be peaceful. The message of coexistence and brotherhood will be conveyed.
Murder of Bilal Kaka and aftermath
Killing of a man at the hands of a hotel owner in Hyderabad triggered ethnic tensions between Sindhis and Pakhtuns in major cities of Sindh on Wednesday.
Tensions started after hotel owner Haji Pathan killed a man who was identified as Bilal Kaka. Police have arrested the suspected killer.
Senior politician Afarasiab Khattak and rights activist Nida Kirmani demanded the Sindh government to stop the violence against Pakhtuns and protect their lives and properties in the province.
