Shopkeeper kills ‘dacoit’ in Docks area

KARACHI: A dacoit was shot dead by a shopkeeper in Docks area of ​​Karachi on Tuesday. In another incident two dacoits were injured in a police encounter in Quaidabad. Two suspect dacoits were nabbed by citizens in Surjani Town.

According to police, one person said to be a dacoit was shot dead by a shopkeeper in Machhar Colony area of ​​Docks police station while five of his accomplices escaped.

Six armed robbers, including the deceased Abdul Haq, entered the grocery store with the intention of looting, but the shopkeeper opened fire, killing one of them while his accomplices fled.

Weapons and ammunition were found in the possession of the diseased.

According to police, two alleged dacoits were arrested after a police encounter near Quaidabad Bridge.

Two pistols, cash of Rs 14,000 and a motorcycle snatched from Shah Latif Town police station were also recovered from the possession of accused Ali Sher and Younis.

Two robbers who robbed a citizen in Yousuf Goth area of ​​Surjani Town were caught by the people.
