SHC orders to conduct audit of funds for flood victims

KARACHI, 22,2022- The Sindh High Court has ordered a forensic audit of the funds released to various institutions for the rehabilitation of flood victims.

Sindh High Court has asked the Auditor General Sindh to audit the funds till October 27 and report.

The court has summoned the NDMA in-charge for the next hearing.

The court said that the various institutions have practically done nothing except verbally, but collected expenses.

Eight flood victims die in single day in Mehar camp

In the report of the Additional Advocate General of Sindh, everything is said to be fine, but the reports of the judges are contrary to it, the NDMA in-charge should appear in person in the next hearing.
