KARACHI Jul26,2021- Sindh High Court on Monday, ordered DNA of unidentified dead bodies across Sindh on petition filed for recovery of Faizan Soomro who is missing since five years.

The court issued a notice to the Secretary home Department and called him in the court.

A two-member bench of SHC, comprising Justice Muhammad Iqbal L Kalhoro and Justice Fahim Ahmed Siddiqui heard the family’s petitiont for the recovery of Faizan Soomro, who is missing since five years.

The court observed that why SOPs are not decided for the DNA of unidentified dead bodies?

Let the Secretary home appear and guide the court.

During the hearing, the court was told that Faizan Soomro has been missing since February 25, 2016.

The investigating officer of the case informed the court that Faizan Soomro the case was investigated but Faizan Soomro was not recovered. He further said time is required for taking DNA samples of Faizan Soomro’s relatives. The court adjourned the hearing after ordering the DNA of unidentified bodies across Sindh.
