KARACHI (May 19, 2021) Sindh High Court on Wednesday, has issued non-bailable arrest warrant for the federal secretary interior affairs for not appearing in the court despite repeated summons.

that Federal Secretary Home Yousuf Naseem should be arrested and produced in Sindh High Court on May 27,

Justice K.K Agha said that court ordered several times to recover the missing persons.

The report of the detention centers was presented by the Federal Secretary for Interior Affairs and but he did not appear in person, the court said.

The court noted that Federal Secretary for Interior Affairs did not respond to the show cause notice issued by the Sindh High Court and added that the Federal secretary interior affairs was constantly violating the court.

The court in its remarks said, everyone must protect the rights of citizens, the citizens have been missing for many years and the federal secretary does not care, the court said.

The court had sought report from the Home Secretary on the disappearance of missing a citizen Shamsad Ali, who is missing from Karachi since 2015, lawyer said.
