Shahbaz Sharif off loaded from flight, No allowed to travel abroad

LAHORE: Immigration officials stopped PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif was off-loaded from a flight leaving for Doha, Qatar early Saturday morning. sources said, adding that officials told PML-N leader that he was still blacklisted in our system.

Atta Tarar informed the airport authorities about the matter and also read out the Lahore High Court’s order, allowing ailing leader to travel abroad for medical treatment.

According to sources, PML-N president and opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif told the authorities that the Lahore High Court gave order of one-time travel.

Shahbaz Sharif also showed court orders to airport officials.

As per the offline form, Shahbaz Sharif’s system has not been updated  

Muslim League (N) spokesman Maryam Aurangzeb has strongly condemned Shahbaz Sharif’s stopping the PLM-N president to move abroad, saying that he was stopped by the orders of Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar. This tantamount to be contempt of court.

Maryam Aurangzeb said the claim that the system was not updated is a lie. These small movements would not matter as he will leave tomorrow if not today.

 He was allowed the Lahore High Court on medical grounds.

Fawad Chauhdry had earlier said that the government would “seek all legal avenues against the decision”.
