Shahbaz Sharif files petition seeking treatment abroad

LAHORE: President of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has filed a petition in court seeking treatment abroad.

Shahbaz Sharif has approached the Lahore High Court for removal of his name from ECL.

It may be recalled that the Lahore High Court had granted bail to the PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif in the assets case on April 14 last month.

Sindh Information Minister through a tweet message supported the plea of PML-N president in subtle way. “We request the Honorable Lahore High Court to accept the request of the PML-M President Mian Shahbaz Sharif for treatment abroad. At the same time, any leader of the N [PML-N] who is ill should be allowed to receive treatment abroad. Nothing important than life.”
