Reconciliation should start in Parliament not thru interview: Hina Khar

KARACHI Oct 02,2021- Former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that it is a good thing to move towards reconciliation (with TTP) but it should start from the parliament and not from a TV interview.

Talking at Geo News program, Hina Rabbani Khar a PPP government former foreign minister, while responding the PM Imran Khan’s interview in which he had said talks with TTP were going on in Afghanistan, she said that the Prime Minister says that he is a political man and believes in dialogue. Imran Khan, tell us why political talks cannot take place inside Pakistan. It did not look like that in the parliament.

Pakistan demands disarmament of banned TTP

Hina Rabbani Khar said that a few days ago the Foreign Minister stated that he was ready to pardon, to which the other side replied that those apologize who make mistakes. Did the Prime Minister take the Pakistani nation into confidence for the talks?

It may be recalled that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had also said in an interview to a British news agency on September 15, 2021 that if the TTP does not take the law into its own hands and assures not to be involved in terrorist activities, it can be pardoned.
