Rainwater affected railway track near Jhimpir restored

The up railway track affected by rain water between Jhimpir and Meeting station in Thatta has restored.

According to reports, after the railway track was restored, the trains have departed from Karachi to the country.

As the railway lines were affected, 14 up and down trains to Karachi were stopped at different stations.

Passengers faced problems in extreme heat and congestion. The passengers also protested at Karachi Cantt Station.

According to railway officials, water had washed away the soil from under the up and down track between Metting and Jhimpir railway station.
