Pregnant woman dies in private hospital, doctor and staff escape

TANDO ALLAHYAR Oct3,2021- A pregnant woman along with her child died due to alleged negligence of the staff of a private hospital in Tando Allahyar city of Sindh province.

After the incident, the doctors and staff of the hospital left the hospital and fled.

According to police, Irfan, a resident of Goth Juma Khan Lund, had admitted his wife Zehra to a private hospital in Tando Allahyar for delivery, where she died due to alleged negligence of doctors and staff.

When the heirs of the deceased protested after the incident, the hospital staff and doctors fled the hospital. Police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.

The police assured the victim’s family of full cooperation, after which the heirs handed over the body to the police for autopsy.

The body has been shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem. A case will be registered after the postmortem.
