PDM announces to launch countrywide protest campaign

ISLAMABAD- 29, June 2021- Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president and JUI chief of Maulana Fazlur Rehman has summoned opposition alliance party heads meeting on July 5, to discuss the post budget scenario.

The meeting will be held in Islamabad party heads will deliberate on future strategy, particularly in reference of budget session and performance of opposition parties during this important session.

Top leaders Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Aftab Sherpao, Sajid Mir, Shah Awais Noorani and Mir Kabir will attend the meeting.

The issue of PPP and ANP as member of the alliance has not been resolved.

The elections of Azad Kashmir scheduled on July 25, will also be focused in the agenda

Earlier on June 20, Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced to hold a PDM rally in Karachi on July 29 to advance its agenda of dislodging the PTI government.

After show cause notices to these PPP and ANP, activities of the PDM had been slowed down.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman told reporters in Peshawar that the PDM has not changed its stance and the movement against the government will continue with popular support.
