JUI reveals candidates for Sindh in upcoming elections

LAHORE: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has issued show cause notices to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Awami National Party (ANP) on the questionable nature of the election of the opposition leader in the Senate.

PPP secretary Nayyar Bukhari said that it was not a government department to issue show cause and added, they did not want to conduct PDM funeral.

Bukhari said, they were not subordinate to anyone that they were talking about giving show cause notice.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s residence last week to issue a show cause notice to the PPP and Awami National Party, but the decision needed to be ratified by PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, which was obtained the yesterday.

“We don’t believe in deals, we don’t do deals, deals are done by those who left the country in 2019,” PPP secretary he quipped.

Defending party stand Bukhari said that we had made Leader of the Opposition in the Senate because we had a majority, not subordinate to anyone that they were talking about giving show cause notices.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed talking to reporters on Sunday said that differences between the PPP and PML-N would benefit the ruling PTI.
