Pandora Papers probe: PAC summons concerned agencies

Chairman Public Accounts Committee Rana Tanveer Hussain has summoned the concerned agencies including FBR for a briefing on the Pandora Papers probe.
Talking to media, Rana Tanveer Hussain said that we have the power of summons and warrant. We have recovered Rs. 480 billion from various institutions in three years.
Rana was elected to the National Assembly as a candidate of PML-N from Constituency NA-120 (Sheikhupura-II) in 2018 Pakistani general election.
Pandora’s papers: Probe should start with federal ministers, analysts
Rana Tanveer Hussain said that earlier, a commission was set up on medicine, sugar and wheat crisis the government had set up a commission on Pandora Papers as in the past but nothing was done.
The NAB has given itself an NRO through an ordinance and is covering itself to avoid accountability.
