No Election before reforms, says Asif Ali Zardari

Zardari Responds to Alliances and Political Landscape at Press Conference in Mithi
KARACHI May 11,2022- Co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has said that it would take three months or four months, electoral reforms are to be held before general elections.
While rejecting the opinion of Khawaja Asif regarding possibility of early elections, PPP Supremo Asif Zardari said that it was decided that first the laws have to be improved then the election are to be held and added that he was talking after consultation with Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Asif Ali Zardari said that in his opinion, if anyone can run Pakistan. None than other us can run it.
“I said on the first day that they will not be able to run, they will fall on their own strength, their own friends have left them,” Asif Ali Zardari said.
The former president, talking about former prime minister Mr Khan, said that he was released by his own people because he did not fulfill the political promises of his people.
Zardari said, “I had been saying that elections should be held, but when we have formed the government, they want elections to be held.” He further said, when he saying that it was a rigged government, no one listened to him.
Talking about the stock market, Asif Ali Zardari said that your stock exchange is now standing, even after the era of Pervez Musharraf, we had raised the stock exchange.
“Until the IMF program comes, we will have problems,” he said.
Asif Ali Zardari categorically siad that when we said that we will not hold elections, we will go for elections after electoral reforms.
“We have removed the selected ones together and “I want to lit people’s closed stoves,” he said.
On Imran Khan’s demand for new elections, Asif Ali Zardari said that what will he do after going to the polls? What he had done in your four years? What will he do by holding early elections?
He also said that the new government has just come, it takes some time to control the situation.
The former president said that if the army is apolitical then should General Bajwa be saluted or fought with him? It is known that they can remain neutral and apolitical, we will try to keep them apolitical.
He said that he did not consider the population of Pakistan to be 200 million, in his opinion the population of the country is 300 million and with them we have to make Pakistan prosper.
