ISLAMABAD Aug 20,2021 – Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has said that New Afghan government should come into power and added that soon foreign minister will visit countries close to Afghanistan.
Addressing a news briefing here on Friday, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said the situation in Afghanistan is being closely monitored, the statement of the Taliban spokesman regarding the prevention of terrorism is welcome, the new Afghan government should come to Afghanistan.
Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said in a news briefing that Prime Minister Imran Khan has talked to world leaders about Afghanistan, the foreign minister will soon visit countries close to Afghanistan.
The Foreign Office spokesman said that the Pakistani ambassador to Afghanistan is in touch with the Afghan people, wants peace despite the 4 million refugees, we are cooperating with the world powers on the issue of Afghanistan.
Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said that Pakistan wants peace and stability in Afghanistan and is in favor of peaceful transfer of power in Afghanistan.
“Pakistanis are being brought to Pakistan by air or Torkham. We are also providing diplomatic assistance to the ambassadors and people of other countries in Afghanistan,” the Foreign Office spokesman said.
