PML-N Chief Expresses Commitment to Inclusive Approach; Focus on Development in Balochistan
Quetta, Nov 15,2023: PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif’s long-awaited visit to Balochistan has unfolded with significant meetings, demonstrating his commitment to fostering unity. During discussions with the leadership of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), and the National Party, Sharif emphasized his desire to bring all stakeholders together.
Arriving in Quetta for the first time since his return, Nawaz Sharif engaged with key political figures in Balochistan, including Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, Khalid Magsi, Abdul Malik Baloch, Jan Muhammad Jamali, Saleh Bhutani, Manzoor Kakar, and Nawab Ayaz Jogezai.
The presence of Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Pervaiz Rashid, and other League leaders underscored the significance of the visit. Sharif acknowledged that the developmental trajectory in Balochistan experienced a halt after the end of his government, expressing his commitment to resuming the journey of progress.
“We have always taken everyone together, and we will stick to the tradition of inclusivity,” stated Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in driving development in Balochistan.
Balochistan Awami Party leader Jam Kamal Khan, following consultations within the party, pledged to communicate the decision to Nawaz Sharif. Meetings with leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan and the National Party further highlighted the comprehensive nature of Sharif’s visit and his commitment to engaging with diverse political entities.
