Naran opened for tourists after 5 months

ISLAMABAD, April 17,2022- After a long period of five months, the National Highway Authority has removed all obstacles and opened the beautiful tourist spot of Naran in Mansehra for tourists.
The Naran Highway was closed in October last year after heavy snowfall.
NHA personnel have cleared four glaciers and landslides in an area of 11 km from Kali Mati to Naran and opened the highway to Naran Bazaar.
Naran’s business class is ready to welcome tourists.
Hassan Din, an official of the Hotel Association, said that there are 2000 to 2500 hotels in Naran. The number of owners and workers who open their business after 7 months is about two million.
The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) has formulated a special plan to control the traffic of millions of tourists.
Chairman Kagan Development Authority (KDA) Dr. Aimal Zaman said that he thinks heavy traffic should be allowed at 11 pm, before that only tourist vehicles should be allowed.
“Around 0.7 million vehicles carrying tourists have entered the valley so far and more motorists are on the way to this picturesque destination,” Asif Bahadur, district police officer, told reporters in July 2021.
Last year it was Eid holidays.
According to the Tourism Department of K-P, around 2.6 million tourists visited Swat, Galliyat and Naran areas during the period from July 17-24. Around 100,000 tourists also visited scenic Razmak area of North Waziristan district.
