MD CAT Test Results Declared for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
PESHAWAR, Nov, 3023: Khyber Medical University (KMU) has officially released the results of the re-conducted Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MD CAT) for admissions to medical colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The announcement was made on Sunday, bringing clarity to the medical aspirants eagerly awaiting the outcome.
According to KMU, a total of 6 candidates have emerged as top scorers, securing an impressive 192 marks in the MD CAT. The success rate in the test stands at an encouraging 75%, reflecting the dedication and competence of the candidates.
402 candidates secured marks ranging from 180 to 189,
2,982 candidates attained scores between 170 and 179.
Participation and Absence Statistics:
Out of the 46,000 candidates initially registered, a total of 34,000 actively participated in the test. Remarkably, 11,300 candidates were notably absent during the examination.
Background: It’s important to note that the previous MD CAT test was marred by a Bluetooth scandal, leading to its cancellation. Subsequently, the responsibility of conducting the test was transferred from ETA to Khyber Medical University, ensuring a fair and secure examination environment. The latest results bring relief to the candidates after the testing process underwent a rigorous overhaul to maintain the integrity of the admissions process.
