Iranian authorities deported 108 illegal Pakistani immigrants who allegedly entered in Iran without proper traveling documents.

According to official sources, the detained people were handed over to Levies Force authorities via Raahdari Gate at Taftan border.

The detained people were later given into Federal Investigation Agency’s custody for further investigation.

On April 5, Iran deported 185 Pakistani and handed over to Pakistani authorities.

While on March 29, as many as 185 illegal immigrants were handed over to Pakistan.

The Pakistanis illegal immigrants generally wanted to proceed towards Turkey and Europe via Iran for better jobs, the sources said, adding that the detained people were later handed over to Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) after completion of formal procedure and screening against coronavirus.
