Imran Khan directs immediate restoration of students unions in Punjab

LAHORE, Dec 3,2022- Imran Khan directed the immediate restoration of students unions in Punjab and preparation of guidelines.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman PTI Imran Khan met with the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Government College University Asghar Zaidi.

On this occasion, Asghar Zaidi announced the upgradation of Media Studies Department of GC University into Arshad Sharif School of Journalism.

Vice-Chancellor Asghar Zaidi said that the Arshad Sharif School of Journalism will focus on investigative journalism and journalistic values.

Sindh universities VCs meeting to consider revival of students unions

Asghar Zaidi said that a new building of Arshad Sharif School of Journalism will also be constructed in the campus.

It may be recalled that Sindh government has already passed act for revival of students unions and last week a meeting of the public sector universities of Sindh province at a meeting were directed to implement the law and make arrangements for elections of students unions..
