Gwadar Incident: China asks Pakistan to upgrade method of security cooperation

ISLAMABAD Aug 21,2021 – The China asked Pakistan has asked Pakistan to upgrade the method of security cooperation to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, the Chinese embassy said that a convoy of vehicles carrying Chinese personnel on the Gwadar Expressway project was attacked by a suicide bomber, killing two local children and injuring several others, including a Chinese national.

According to the statement, the Chinese embassy in Pakistan condemns the terrorist attack in Gwadar and extends its condolences to the injured of both the countries.

The statement said that the Chinese embassy extends its condolences to the families of the innocent victims.

The Chinese embassy said in a statement that the Chinese embassy demanded that Pakistan provide full medical assistance to the injured.

Pakistan finds important clue in Dasu incident

In a statement, the Chinese embassy demanded that Pakistan conduct a full investigation into the suicide bombing and punish the perpetrators severely.

According to Pakistan Interior Ministry statement, a convoy comprising four vehicles carrying Chinese nationals “with integral security details of Pakistan army and police contingent” was targeted on East Bay Expressway.

An explosion targeting a convoy of vehicles carrying Chinese nationals passing through the Gwadar Expressway killed two children on Friday evening, the interior ministry said in a statement.

The attack took place along the coastal road near a fishermen’s colony, the statement had added.
