ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought final arguments in cases against real estate businesses in the name of ministries and subsidiaries. He also said that in general, it is illegal for ministries and their subsidiaries to do real estate business.

 Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard cases against real estate business in the name of ministries and subsidiaries in the Islamabad High Court and asked whether government entities can do real estate business in their own name.

 Justice Athar Minallah while giving remarks in the case asked whether it was a conflict of interest.

Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the state itself protects the criminals, here it is seen in the criminal appeals, and the state itself is involved in these crimes.

 The Deputy Attorney General told the court that he would send a summary to the cabinet this week as per the court order.

Justice Athar Minallah said that this court is telling you that it is a matter of fundamental rights. The Attorney General will give final arguments at the next hearing on January 17. We will decide the case after looking at the law.
