Negotiations with the banned TPL were successful, after which the government announced the withdrawal of cases against the activists of organization and the release of detained protesters.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has that the cases will be withdrawn by Wednesday, the government will also look into Schedule IV of ATA, and the matter of the ambassador will be taken to the National Assembly. The council of the banned organization has said that the government has been given time till Tuesday evening to meet the demands of the organization. The council of the banned outfit said, the march will end only withdrawal of cases and review the Fourth Schedule and when Amir Saad Rizvi of the organization comes before the participants of the long march after his release and announces that the demands will be met.

On the other hand, the protesters have set up camp in Muridke after talks with the government.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has said that the cases against the banned organization will be withdrawn by Tuesday or Wednesday. It has been decided that the government will also look into Schedule IV. The people of the banned organization will come to the Interior Ministry on Monday at 10 am.

People sitting in Mureedky will return on Wednesday, protesters will not march towards Islamabad, roadblocks will remain on GT Road while Rawalpindi and Islamabad administration has been directed to remove the containers from the road.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said that he has assured to resolve all the demands. Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Sheikh Rashid said that the talks have been settled to a large extent.

He said the TLP detainees would be released and the issue of evicting the diplomat under a previous agreement would be taken up in the National Assembly. The Federal Home Minister said that the TLP people will stay where they are till 12 noon on Tuesday while traffic will be opened on both sides.

Sheikh Rashid said that a TLP delegation would also come to us on Monday and talks on their issues would begin. He said that their issues would be discussed in the next two to three days. One-on-one talks have been held with Saad Rizvi.
