KARACHI: Governor Sindh inaugurates a pictorial exhibition of Allama Iqbal on the eve of Iqbal’s 83rd death anniversary organised by DEMP Karachi.
The Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications Karachi organised a pictorial exhibition of Allama Iqbal held at Governer House. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail inaugurated the exhibition by cutting ribbon at Governor House.
In his address to the visitors in augural session he said that we should transform the spirit of independence into our life because this was the right time to follow principles of our national heroes. We had to turn
Pakistan into ideal country as envisioned by Quaid I Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Mohammad Iqbal and other founders of Pakistan. He said though due to covid SOPs the exhibition is held at Governor house, he suggested to do such exhibitions at educational institute so that our young generation come to know about struggle and vision of our leader in making creation of Pakistan possible.
He appreciated the efforts of DEMP , Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Islamabad in organising a pictorial exhibition of national importance in presentable manner.
A large number of the visitors from different walks of life saw the rare pictures of Allama Mohammad Iqbal from archives of Directorate of Electronic Media and Publication Karachi, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Islamabad .
Earlier Director DEMP Karachi Ms. Raisa Adil throw light on the life of Allama Iqbal and his poetry. She also explained the significance of the Pictorial Exhibition on 83rd death anniversary of Allama Iqbal.
She thanked Mrs .Iram Tanveer DG PID Karachi, M Khalid Mairaj Abbasi Director PID, renouned writers, journalists, and the participants for taking out their precious time for the exhibition.
