Sui Southern spokesman said the arrival of carrying the LNG ship was delayed due to strong waves at sea, which led to gas being distributed under the load management plan, while uninterrupted supply of gas to domestic consumers will continues.

On the other hand, FPCCI has demanded immediate resumption of gas supply and said that it rejects three days gas cut off for industries in Sindh.

It may be recalled that Sui Southern Gas Company on October had announced a sudden shutdown of CNG for three days on the pretext of gas shortage in Sindh before winter.

Earlier, CNG stations were reopened in January this year after a long shutdown.
