Ex – IG Sindh Police AD Khawaja serves legal notice to Rao Anwar
Former IG Sindh Police and current Commandant National Police Academy AD Khawaja has sent a legal notice to retired SSP Rao Anwar.
The notice said that Rao Anwar had made false allegations against him in the Geo News program which had damaged his reputation and his family was facing dangers from these allegations.
In the notice, AD Khawaja has also demanded an apology from Rao Anwar and Rs 5 crore compensation.
According to reports, the notice has given former SSP Rao Anwar 14 days to respond.
Rao Anwar siad in interview that in the Naqibullah Mehsud case, Additional IG Mushtaq Mehr should have been made the head of the investigation committee. AD Khawaja on his own selected Additional IG Sanaullah Abbasi who has been doing such things himself.

Retired SSP further said, IG Sindh forcibly brought Naqibullah Mehsud’s father from the village.
Rao Anwar said, “I take an oath and say that IG Sindh AD Khawaja told me that some men will kill you and throw them away but I forbade them. I have not killed anyone and thrown dead body till today. There were only two these counters regarding MQM in 1995, in one of which terrorist Farooq Dada was killed.
