Erum Lakhani appointed as the Chancellor of Iqra University
Erum Lakhani has been appointed as the Chancellor of Iqra University, her appointment has been made for four years as per the notification issued by the Governor House.
Shaman Education Society sent three names to Governor Sindh/ Patron, for Chancellor of Iqra University.
These three names included Erum Lakhani, Naveed Lakhani and Ahsan Murad.
According to the act, Governor Sindh, who is also the patron of Iqra University, approved Erum Lakhani as the chancellor out of three names.
Erum Lakhani has been the chancellor of Iqra University before.

It may be remembered that the founding chancellor of Iqra University, Hunaid Lakhani, was re-appointed as the chancellor of Iqra University just one day before his death.
His chancellor’s notification was issued by the Governor House on 7 September while he died on 8 September.
Erum Lakhani is the sister of Hunaid Lakhani and is also the co-founder of Iqra University.
