Delimitation of constituencies for general election will be completed by May 24,
Election Commission extends date for submission of nomination papers
ISLAMABAD, Apil 24 2022- The Election Commission of Pakistan has said that preliminary delimitation of the constituencies of the National and Provincial Assemblies will be completed by May 24.Work will continue without break until August 3.
A statement issued by the Election Commission states that work on the delimitation of the National and Provincial Assemblies continues from April 11, which will continue till August 3.
According to the schedule of the delimitation issued by the Election Commission, the training of the divisional committees constituted for the four provinces and Islamabad is currently underway.

Maps and other data for the delimitation have been obtained by the Election Commission of Pakistan and according to the schedule, the committees will complete the preliminary delimitation of constituencies of of the National Assemblies in the country by May 24, 2022.
After that the initial completion of the delimitation of constituencies will be published on May 28, 2022. Appeals / objections to the preliminary constituencies may be submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan Secretariat Islamabad from May 29, 2022 to June 28, 2022.
The Election Commission will hear all appeals and objections from July 1, 2022 to July 30, 2022, and will conclude and finalize the work of constituencies of all national and provincial assemblies on August 3, 2022.
