CTD summons Farooq Sattar to record statement in RAW connection case

KARACHI (June 4, 2021): The Sindh Police’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has summoned MQM central leader Dr Farooq Sattar at  the Civil Line Police Station (CTD tomorrow to record his statement on allegation of assisting Indian intelligence agency RAW.

The TD has also called on the Pakistan Mainland Party (PSP) leader, Anis Advocate.

According to a notice issued by CTD police, two suspects Naeem Khan and Imran Ahmed were arrested under FIR No. 54 at CTD Civil Line police station.

The notice read, the arrested suspects have disclosed Farooq Sattar get them contracted with the Indian intelligence agency RAW.

In this notice, Dr Farooq Sattar has been asked to appear personally before the investigating officer on June 5 at 12 noon with all available evidence.

On the other hand, the CTD has also summoned the PSP leader Anis Advocate, who was directed to reach the CTD head office tomorrow afternoon.
