Biometric Registration of Employees thru face recongnition

KARACHI, Aug 28,2024- The education department has directed the college principals to shift all the employees of the colleges from fingerprint recognition to facial recognition.

This shifting may be completed by 15th September, 2024. After this deadline, the fingerprint recognition in biometric machines may be disabled.
Through a written directives the Director General Colleges, Regional Director Colleges and Principals are requested to ensure the presence of all the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff in colleges so that all the employees may be registered with facial recoginition.

Sources said that this measure has been taken after finding some fake fingerprints in biometric registration.
