KARACHI, Feb 25,2022- Baloch leader Dr. Abdul Hayee Baloch died in a road accident in Punjab.

Abdul Hayee Baloch by caste Chalgari, belonged to Bhag Nari of Bolan district.

He was the first chairman of the Baloch Students’ Organization. He became a member of the Constituent Assembly in 1970 general election. He defeated the Khan of Kalat. He was elected on a National Awami Party ticket which was banned.

Abdul Hayee Baloch along with other activists of BSO formed the Balochistan National Movement, then split and formed his own group and thus remained in political parties at different times. He remained active member of PONAM, an alliance of nationalists of Pakistan.

in 2018, Veteran politician Dr Abdul Hayee Baloch has formed a new political party with the name of National Democratic Party.

He was simple person and seen walking on the streets of Karachi.

He died in a road accident near Bahwalpur in Punjab on Friday.
