Aziz-ur-Rehman accused of sexually abusing student remanded to jail

LAHORE June 28, 2021: Local court sent Aziz-ur-Rehman, to jail on a 14-day judicial remand on charges of sexually abusing a student at Lahore madrassa.

Judicial Magistrate Rana Rashid heard the case where accused Aziz-ur-Rehman was produced after three days of physical remand.

The accused Aziz-ur-Rehman, who was involved in the abuse of the student, confessed to the crime during interrogation.

According to police, the accused said in a statement that the video was made by Sabir Shah in secret, lured the student Sabir to pass and became a victim of lust and fear after the video went viral.

Mufti Aziz ur Rehman, a former JUI leader, was arrested with his son from Mianwali for sexually abusing a student.
