ACE Sindh confirms arrest of PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh

Anti-corruption Sindh has confirmed the arrest of Haleem Adil Sheikh from a private hotel in Lahore.

A case has been registered against Haleem Adil Sheikh on the complaint of Circle Officer Zeeshan Haider. Former Sub-Inspector of Thano Bola Khan Ghulam Nabi Mahesar, Tapedar Abdullah Solangi, Tapedar Sheeruddin and others have been named in the case.

According to the text of the case, it was found in the inquiry that the record has been manipulated with the connivance of the Mukhtiarkar and Tapedar.

Murtaza Wahab justifies Adil’s arrest

Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that the arrest of opposition leader Haleem Adil Shaikh is in accordance with the law.

During the conversation on the media corner of the Sindh Assembly, Murtaza Wahab said that first it was stated that Haleem Adil had been kidnapped, then PTI said that permission was not sought from the Speaker before the arrest.

Murtaza Wahab added that Rule 82 says if action is taken against a member, you have to inform the Speaker.

Murtaza Wahab also said that Anti-corruption Sindh was investigating the manipulation of lands, a case against Malir’s lands but also against Haleem Adil Shaikh.

He said that some time ago action was taken to redeem the government lands in Malir, 63 acres of land in Jamshoro and Thana Bola are occupied by Halim Adil.

Administrator Karachi said that 63 acres of land worth crores of rupees were sold to people, this land was mortgaged and sold to the public, fake societies are established and then sold.

MAP Dua Bhutto lashes out Sindh CM

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Sindh Assembly Dua Bhutto said that her husband Haleem Adil Sheikh was arrested like gangsters, if anything happened to Haleem Adil, she will not forgive Zardari and Murad Ali Shah mafia.

In her statement, Dua Bhutto said that her husband was harassed many times by the Sindh government.
