12 dead bodies recovered from Sukkur barrage in 24 hours
Four more dead bodies have been found from the Sukkur barrage after being swept away by the flood from the upper regions of the country.
In the last 24 hours 12 dead bodies have been found from the barrage.
According to DIG Javed Jiskani, 24 bodies have been removed from the Sukkur Barrage in the last 13 days.
He said that 20 bodies recovered from the barrage have been buried while most of the bodies found remained unidentifiable.
DIG Javed Jiskani also said that three of the bodies found were of Hindu women.
Hawke’s Bay
On the other hand, four more youths drowned while bathing in the sea near Turtle Beach at Hawke’s Bay in Karachi.
